i would tell my younger self to finish college the first time around, go to the doctor because "you are ill girl and don't know it", and to go on anti-anxiety drug due to illness. i would also tell her to find a good support group for adult children of alcoholics/dysfunctional families.

other than that, i would tell my younger self to learn the game of life, because your parents were worth crap as parents, and always will be. not worth wasting your time trying to get their love...you never will.

Hey Ladies and Gents. This is the absolute cutest thing I have ever seen. This British woman has created these little teeth characters that will steal your heart. If you start reading the story of these two teeth from the bottom of the page up, and then when you get done, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the link that reads “Newer Posts”. Then the next page do the same, read the oldest story from the bottom of the page up and then click “Newer Posts” link at the bottom.

This woman is a craft, woodworking, and story telling genius. She has created these two little teeth creatures that have stolen my heart and made me laugh out loud. I now check her site daily for updates. It is the most precious story and would be perfect for children of all ages. And the little teeth are soooo cute!

Truly, if you give this series a chance you will fall in love with these little guys as they experience growing up as little Teeth in a world of big people. Venturing out to the park, going to the potty, being scared of taking a bath, being scared of making new teeth friends, getting the munchies for candy at night, going to the beach for the first time, teething, failing at some things and succeeding at others…and having a blast learning all throughout.

I think it would be so amazing if this brilliant woman got a childrens television series where these little Teeth’s story could be told in stop animation, or something similar. Or even childrens books. Absolutely precious, and such good education for the overly sensitive child. Which has become the hot button with parenting right now due to the Highly Sensitive Person and Highly Sensitive Child books by Elaine Aron.

Argh…if I only I had a direct line to Ellen DeGeneres or Bonnie Hunt… oh, wait I do. Here I come Twitter.com!!! Gonna post this all on and livejournal and post the links on Twitter.com so hopefully this great artwork can be exposed to America.

I am in love with Weeds on Showtime. Watching it at www.sidereel.com and www.cucira.com. Am in love/lust with all the characters and their wonderful mistakes! Shane Botwin is yummilicious (for all you sexy boy loving ladies *nudges Supernatural fans*). *sigh* These characters of Alan Ball's are amazing, flawed, f'ed up humans, and it makes me laugh out loud in the dark, late at night when I should be sleeping...

I'm addicted and I just wanted to share my joy. If you want a good laugh and you don't have problems with watching drug dealing (the whole premise of the show starts with a hand off), I encourage you to give this show a try. They may be dabbling in drug dealing, and making hella hilarious mistakes along the way, but you grow to love and adore the entire family of Agrestic. I'm moving there, lol. What??? I have permanent nerve pain...can't blame a girl for wanting to move to a community where pot seems to be a way of life, lol. Totally unrealistic premise but amazingly funny follow through.

*sigh* My boyfriend, as much as I adore him, just doesn't share my love of sci-fi and vampires/werewolves. He's a space/video game freak and while we share some cross section of interests, my main passion is something he just doesn't get. And that's cool, no big. The only thing is I would pay to have someone to watch my sci-fi/vampire shows with. I'm so tired of watching my shows after he goes to bed and having no one to share these wonderful stories with. I've tried to introduce my shows to him, but he usually just doesn't seem that interested. He cares and understands that they are my thing, and he supports it...he just doesn't generally want to watch them. And there are some super great shows I would love to share with a friend.

Anybody have any ideas? I'm a lady with fibromyalgia, so I don't get out much and can't go over to a friend's house usually as I'm managing pain in the evenings. I would love to even have an online friend to share sci-fi stuff with. *sigh* I'm just so sad with having no one to share my passion in life with. I guess I'm at the point in my life I just want to develop one really wonderful, rewarding friendship with someone who shares my life long passion before I shuffle off this planet, ya know?

If anyone has any ideas where I can meet fellow sci-fi/vampire lovers online, I would love to hear them. I'm a new member of the vampire cafe and werewolf cafe here on livejournal, but am kinda shy. If you're out there and you wanna talk vampires, page me! I'm into True Blood, the Twilight series, and am anxiously awaiting Underworld 3.

Yeah... I don't exactly know where to begin. It's been a rough, really tough year. I'm infinitely glad to see the exodus of 2006. Hell, I'll probably be glad to see the exodus of the first decade of the 21st century.

To sum up 2006: lost my best friend in an accident (actually in December 2005, but I'm still counting it because I'm still reeling), developed more chronic pain, lost weight to relieve chronic pain and prevent degenerative disc disease, attempted physical therapy for my knees and legs, developed more pain in my legs due to unsuccessful attempt at physical therapy, lost my job, got a boyfriend, filed for disability due to chronic pain and depression, found out that I couldn't get disability without a major diagnosis for my legs (which prevent me from working), am now chasing diagnosis for legs, developed more pain in back during the fall, developed more pain in legs and hands during the winter (both of which I think are fibromyalgia), will lose health insurance at end of Feb. 2007, and developed some really bad coping behaviors as a result of feeling like a prisoner in my own home and my own body.

Yeah... that about sums it up, without including the gory, discomforting details. *sigh* Is it January 21st yet? Looking forward to new Battlestar and Dresden files. I'm curious to see how this new guy fills Dresden's shoes. I know many of you on my flist were rooting for JM, but I'm trying to be open to this new guy. From my knowledge of the series, he at least fits the physical type, doesn't he? Hmmm... we'll see.

Sitting here wishing my food stamps paid for some Korbel... It's just not New Year's without it, huh?
